Hi! I’m Kirsten and I’m so glad you’re here. I still can’t believe I get my very own corner of the Internet and you somehow happened upon it! While you’re here, let me tell you a little bit about myself.
I am a wife to my wonderful husband and mom to eight great kids! We live on a 25- acre farm with numerous animals and a huge garden. I have always had a camera in my hand, capturing my family, our farm, and just our day to day life. I look at how our family has changed and grown and I am so thankful that I took the time to document the special moments as well as the beautiful ordinary moments! Those photos are treasures!

what I do
I'm a wife and mom, I am also a retired RN. I guess you could say I love people and I love to serve! I'm a BIG people person! When I first meet you be prepared because I will give you a hug! My goal as your wedding photographer is not just to capture your wedding, but to capture the beginning of your marriage; your life together. THAT is priceless history!! Each couple is unique. Each story is unique. There is so much beauty in two families coming together and a new one forming.
I want to capture images that will make you pause and reflect on that time and the people that mean the most to you! Images that will capture your history. Images that will make you feel something! It is truly an honor to be with you and your family on your big day, to capture a piece of your history, and your day one! When you get in front of my camera I want you to feel totally comfortable and special and loved! That leads to joyful, authentic, and timeless photographs. Images that you will cherish a lifetime!

I'm a huge fan of engagement sessions because it's another opportunity to get to know each other before your big day, and you will get beautiful photographs that celebrate your engagement!

I'll check-in every once in a while to see how it's all coming together. Two months before your big day I'll send out a questionnaire and we'll meet up to make sure I have everything I need to capture the big day from details about traditions to timelines!
